Report & Support
If something feels off, report it. Reports are reviewed by our team.
- From a profile: Tap ••• → Report → choose a reason.
- From a chat: Tap options → Report → choose reason.
- Emergency: Contact local authorities first, then let us know.
Block & Control
Block prevents people from messaging or seeing your profile. You can also unmatch anytime.
- Open the profile or chat → Tap ••• → Block.
- To unmatch: open chat → Unmatch. This removes the conversation.
- Use Photo Verification and Report tools if you suspect impersonation.

Your privacy is important. Tangled follows clear privacy principles that explain how your data is handled and protected.
- Data Control: Delete your account from Settings → Other settings, and edit your data from Profile → Edit profile.
- Visibility Settings: Choose who can view your profile, distance, and last active time.
- Communication Preferences: Manage read receipts, push notifications, and app alerts.
- Information Use: Tangled does not sell personal information to third parties.
- Compliance: We follow applicable privacy laws and review our practices regularly.
For Parents & Guardians
Tangled is strictly for adults 18+. We continuously monitor for compliance with our age policy and cooperate with law enforcement when required.
- Talk with your child about respectful behaviour, consent, and boundaries when interacting online.
- Remind your child not to share private details (full name, address, phone, workplace, financial info) and to use in‑app safety controls.
- Encourage your child to block or unmatch when they feel uncomfortable and to report any inappropriate conduct via the in‑app Report flow.
Contact Safety
If you believe someone is at immediate risk, call local emergency services first. For non‑emergencies, message our Support team.
